Why a Nutritional Therapist?
Experiencing a particular condition or symptom is individual to you. Your IBS, brain fog, acne, thyroid condition, autoimmune disease and so on will be different to why your friend, grandparent, colleague or acquaintance has it. What works for you, may not work for others. This is why a nutritional therapist works with you as an individual and each plan is personal to you and your needs.
Below are some of the conditions that can benefit seeing a nutritional therapist. We also work with other therapists and may refer you to others such as osteopaths, physios, chiropractors, herbalists, aromatherapists, reflexologists, EFT practitioners, CBT or other talking therapy to support you holistically.
On occasion, we like to work with your doctor and may ask for some blood work to be done. We do not treat or diagnose but instead support you in your aims and goals. Some of the conditions below sometimes require private testing and that's where functional tests come in, these help to get a clearer picture on your condition, which can help shape your protocol. At times functional tests can be taken to your doctors to argue the case of future investigations that may be needed.
